What does the scan read?

The public homepage as a first-time visitor receives it, plus the privacy policy and terms it links to. It looks for known tags, consent platforms, political tools, and what the policy covers.

How is the Consent score set?

Zero if no consent banner is visible on first view, whether a known platform or a custom one. With a banner, one hundred if nothing fired before a visitor could answer, minus ten for every tag that did.

Is the visitor number measured?

It is modeled, not measured. For most sites it is a third-party estimate of total monthly visits across search, direct, social, referral, and email, labeled with the month it covers. Sites too small to have one fall back to a search-only estimate, labeled as such, or to a stated default.

Does the scan touch my site?

It loads the homepage in a real browser once, reads the privacy policy it links to, and caches the result for a day. Nothing is installed, nothing is submitted, and nobody on your side is contacted.
